Beautiful calendar! When writing things it's best to use a soft tip. A ball point goes through to the next month, as if you were using carbon paper.
Lovely photographs with succinct, inspiring messages for each month. The paper stock is heavy and printed colors are vibrant. I look forward to changing the page each month!
Love it as always. Been getting these for several years. They serve as a daily reminder of the wonderful message from Tolle.
Tolle's book 'A New Earth' affected me profoundly, so this calendar was a natural choice. A relative gave me one of Tolle's calendar's last year, and I really enjoyed the quotes each month. In fact, family members often heard a specific month's quote in the course of a conversation. I searched for the calendar myself for this year. The short quotes for each month just speak to me, and I appreciate the reminder of how I want to focus my thoughts and my life. Photos are exquisite, and complement the words. Great calendar.
Can't go wrong with Eckhart. The photo's are lovely and the messages potent.
The pictures are pretty and serene. It shows the lunar cycle as well, (full moon, new moon, waxing, waining etc). It also shows the previous month and preview of the following month which is good for tracking, prior or future reoccurring events. I'm not sure what a calendar is supposed to do aside from that, so it's good in my book!
I'm was very impressed with the book A New Earth, but the quotes on the calendar are too strange and are listed in large font, so it's nearly impossible not to read them. It's not ideal for a workplace. The pictures are nice, but I'm a little embarrassed when people come to my cubicle and read the quotes. They're kind of like, "Huh?" For example, quotes that refer to the "voice in your head" or "ego." The quotes don't make sense to anyone who hasn't read the book and tend to ramble. I actually think I might replace it with something that offers more mainstream inspiration.
